Kitchen Designs
If you have already had a look at our portfolio of recent work you should have concluded we know how to make beautiful kitchens to a high standard.
It is relatively easy to create a good looking kitchen. But it is very difficult to create a kitchen which is a genuine joy to live, work in and copes well with the everyday comings and goings of family life.
A well-designed kitchen not only looks good but also allows you to create food quickly and easily. In fact, great kitchens inspire you to cook more frequently because they are such a joy to work in. Throughout our design process we focus on the functionality of the kitchen and spend time with you in discussion to make sure that the final design is one you are completely happy with. We will discuss whether you work from home, require a space for homework for your children, where you unpack your supermarket shopping and do you like to watch TV while you cook.
I understand that if you are investing in a bespoke kitchen you do not want to be paying for a lifetime of culinary frustration. Guild Anderson clients frequently tell us not only how much they like the quality of our kitchens but that their new kitchen has made such a difference to their everyday lives.
Arts and Crafts Kitchen
I feel that the Arts and Crafts style is a little like marmite, you either love it or hate it. Indeed it can look rather brutal with it's heavy oaked timbers and dark woods but I have softened the style considerably, whilst retaining the subtle design motifs that make Arts and Crafts so original. Old Rectory Kitchen
This style was developed from a design of a rather pretty Swedish dresser. The client had a picture of this antique piece and together, the client and Nick picked out the details that they liked and pulled it into a coherent design. View Case Study
Stoke
In a space as vast as this with it's grand atrium and numerous windows any small frippery would be lost. This is a contemporary kitchen in it's ultimate form. View Case Study
The Modern Shaker Kitchen
Our Modern Shaker kitchen style makes for an incredibly versatile kitchen. This is a style that would suit a house of any age or type. Being of such a classic design with its clean and simple look, it is unlikely to date quickly and copes will with the rigours of every day family living. View Case Study
