This month, Guild Anderson will be exhibiting for the first time at Decorex International, with Barneby Gates – the quintessentially English wallpaper designers. The luxury interior design show is being held at at the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London, 23-26th September 2012. The Decorex Fair is for those seriously interested in interior design and decoration: professionals and private individuals looking for innovative ideas for a building or design project.
Cabinetry designers, Guild Anderson, specialise in creating bespoke kitchens for country homes. In their workshop on the edge of the Blackmore Vale, they make beautiful kitchens for private clients – as well as tailored boot rooms, utilities, dressing rooms, studies and freestanding furniture. As the furniture is individually made for every customer, each piece fits precisely and is unique.
It was a challenge to illustrate the breadth of cabinetry work that Guild Anderson offer in a single piece! but the kitchen island made for Barneby Gates sums up their design style: personal, understated, timeless, and practical elegance to suit a country home or a London house.
The link to Decorex came about following a Guild Anderson kitchen commissioned by Alice Gates and featured in The Telegraph Magazine earlier this year. Barneby Gates (barnebygates.com) is a fellow Wiltshire based business, designing and manufacturing the most stunning wallpapers. Guild Anderson echo their ‘quintessentially English’ approach to design, illustrated in the gallery of kitchen and furniture projects on Guild Anderson’s website (guildanderson.co.uk).
Partnerships like these are core to Guild Anderson’s successful planning approach. For accuracy, they prefer to work as closely as possible throughout a project with the architect, builder, interior designer or other professional services – and from design conception to cabinetry installation.
Guild Anderson has introduced a number of ‘design ranges’ to help clients select a kitchen style. These underpin all of our room designs but still allow for every single one of our projects to be individual.
If you have a project you would like to discuss or would like to visit the workshop and showroom, please call to make an appointment. The new Guild Anderson Design Showroom opened in May 2012 to show work-in-progress and to demonstrate the care and skill that goes into every piece of their furniture.
