Guild Anderson are fortunate to work on highly diverse, quality bespoke cabinetry designs – from town to country houses, contemporary to Grade II Listed Building projects.
Although we primarily handcraft kitchens for homes in Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset, we are more often being commissioned further afield: in London and Oxford, in Scotland, Ireland – and even a holiday home on the island of Ibiza.
How does Guild Anderson maintain the high standard of work and reputation for completing furniture projects further away, on time and budget?
The secret is simply good old fashioned service, with precision and an attention for detail. It is central to our project management to listen to what a client wants from the start and to help them achieve it – be this a handmade kitchen or bespoke cabinetry: library, boot-room, study or playroom. Guild Anderson also relies on the basic discipline of making sure every measurement, each irregular wall, ceiling or floor, is correctly taken at the outset. Nick Anderson’s experience in helping find solutions to Planning Application guidelines, to tricky or awkward spaces, can make all the difference to a finished room.
Here, there are also different workshop teams for each phase (designing, making, installing, painting) so a project is given the expertise needed at every step.
The photograph above shows a holiday home in Ibiza that Guild Anderson brought to life through its kitchen. The owners had a particular love of cooking and of drawing friends together in an especially beautiful setting.
Many commissions involve other professional teams on site: interior designers, architects and builders so it is important to us to get things right for them as well as for our clients. As a result, much of our work comes through word of mouth, trade and personal recommendations.
For nearly 10 years now, Guild Anderson’s workshop has been designing and creating unique,
tailored cabinetry, and we increasingly welcome back previous clients with new projects with each New Year.
Wishing all the best for 2013 to our clients, suppliers and colleagues from everyone at Guild Anderson.
