Working Together
Kitchen projects reach us in a variety of ways, chiefly directly from clients but often via their architects, interior designers and project managers. We have become a trusted partner to many over the years and are proud of the great working relationships we have with those happy to simplify their projects by delegating the process to us.
We maintain a flexible approach to assist in the delivery of such projects. Often the architect or interior designer is happy for us to bring our design skills to bear for them and their client entirely, while others will have conceptually designed the kitchen before seeking a partner to develop the design further before we make it.
English Country House Style
We have a history of working alongside many architects and interior designers who share our love of English country houses and the sympathetic design styles which make them beautiful places to live. In this regard, we focus our energies exclusively on English country house style, from early Georgian to Edwardian.
Where We Can Help You
The areas we can assist you with include design planning, creative design, technical design development, appliance research and specificatiton, materials and finishes, site surveying, project management, costing management and after sales care. Clear communication, trust, and positive collaboration form the foundations of a successful working relationship together. We would be happy to discuss any kitchen project you may be developing.
Rooms We Specialise In
Kitchens and rooms of utility, such as sculleries, pantries, laundries, bootrooms and bedroom wardrobes are our area of interest, and our efforts are focussed on working with clients and their teams to create working rooms that function beautifully for modern life while being entirely sympathetic to period architecture.
Where We Work
Our location on the Fonthill Estate in Wiltshire makes us ideal for projects across the south and southwest of England, although we do occasionally work elsewhere, with projects also currently in Austria, Northumberland and the Scottish borders.
Cost Management
Everything we design and make is entirely bespoke and we invoice clients directly to keep cost management transparent and simple. We are not allowed (by law) to hide commission into our figures for third parties. Further information on this can be found on the British Institute of Interior Design’s website.
