We’re delighted to be joining forces with Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust QEST — Investing in the Future of Craft and National Saturday Club to be one of their 2026 Masterclass providers.
Each Spring Term, thousands of National Saturday Club members across the UK spend time learning from industry professionals and forward- thinking organisations. The aim is to illuminate future career pathways and help nurture young people’s interests, skills and creativity. The National Saturday Club Masterclass experience is often the moment that many Club members realise that their passions and interests have real potential to develop into fulfilling and rewarding careers.
Our MD, Wes Kangurs and his team are looking forward to bringing estate cabinetry to life for them.

A report by organisations including the Design Council and Design & Technology Association released in 2024 found that about 20% of schools in England and Wales do not teach Design and Technology (D&T) anymore. Pupil numbers taking Design and Technology at GCSE level have also fallen 68% in the last decade. D&T was a compulsory GCSE subject until 2000. The number of trained D&T teachers in schools has more than halved n the last decade.
Other Masterclass providers include Winch Design, Windsor Castle, Heatherwick Studio, Royal Ballet and Opera and dozens more; all with the same goal which is to inspire young people at a grass roots level and to transform creative curiosity into career ambition.
