Guild Anderson was founded over 20 years ago by Nick and Hannah Anderson. From modest beginnings, making cabinetry in a disused fish hatchery at their home in the Wylye Valley, they took on their first apprentice Ian, who is still part of the GA family.
At the heart of our company is a multidisciplinary team. With nearing forty skilled individuals, with one common passion, a desire to design and make beautiful bespoke kitchens and furniture.
Moulded by a set of core values that have underpinned our work from the beginning; creativity, empathy and value – we are first and foremost a design led company with a very specific focus on period houses.
Over the years we are proud to have received recognition for our work, in particular ‘The Bespoke Guild Mark’ which was awarded to us for our work on the historic back of house spaces within the Grade 1 listed Palladian House, Trewithen in Cornwall, which can be viewed within our Portfolio pages.

Wes knows his way around a workshop. Having started his career as a joiner, he possesses extensive experience in both operations and manufacturing. Previously the Managing Director of David Salisbury, Wes joined Guild Anderson at an important stage in the company’s expansion, to improve efficiency and stability after a rapid period of growth. He has since been focusing on the companies efficiency as it continues to expand. 'It is a great honour to take over from Nick as MD. Our mission is to be recognised as England’s most trusted estate cabinetry specialists, setting the modern standard for how the working rooms of historic houses are designed, made and lived with over generations. We have the right team in place to achieve this, and the drive needed to grow at a comfortable pace'.
