Our clients have carefully renovated their period Cotswold home with the help of an exceptional team that included Craig Hamilton Architects, and interior designers Sims Hilditch, who we worked collaboratively with on both the kitchen and boot room.
Dating back to medieval times, with later Georgian additions, the existing period features have encouraged our design team to create unique pieces of furniture and cabinetry that enhance each space beautifully.

Large Georgian sash windows look towards the front of the property, with deep window seats take full advantage of the view towards the ornamental lake.
Despite its more formal appearance, this a room that has been designed for every day use. With such close proximity to the kitchen, our clients use this room for every meal.
Two tall freestanding cabinets stand opposite the kitchen doors. With classically proportioned details, such as the broken pediments which have been included to take full advantage of the rooms generous ceiling height.
These are strikingly elegant cabinets, with hand silvered mirrors set within the panelled doors to the upper sections.
Despite their classical proportions, both of these cabinets have been carefully designed to fulfil the needs of modern family life.

The left hand cabinet discreetly houses a small bar area in the upper section, the perfect space for mixing pre-dinner drinks. The interior has been painted in a contrasting shade of red, adding enormous character.
Shelving for glassware, with a small under mounted polished brass sink set within the worktop, along with a Barber Wilsons & Co. Regent Mixer Tap completes this area.
Housed in a cabinet below the counter is an integrated Miele Dishwasher, making this piece a furniture a truly unique entertainment space.
Considered details have created two pieces of furniture that honour the room’s original period features while adding enormous character to the space.

The right hand cabinet mirrors its pair, with additional internal shelving.
As this is used as our client’s breakfast room, this particular cupboard has been designed predominantly for tea and coffee making.
Space on the internal countertop has been allocated for small appliances, complete with electrical sockets making this the perfect space for their coffee machine.
Again, the cabinet below the worktop has a hidden appliance, this time an integrated Miele refrigerator.
Every consideration has been made to ensure that not only do these pieces of bespoke furniture enhance the room aesthetically, but they also perform brilliantly for modern family life.
Each cabinet strikes the perfect balance between historic and contemporary, enhancing the overall aesthetic of the room.
