This glazed walk-in pantry stands as a testament to functionality, style, and convenience made possible through our collaboration with Lucy Cunningham Interiors.
Far more than just a storage space for groceries, this culinary alcove embodies a fusion of practicality and aesthetic appeal. When you then marry bespoke cabinetry with glazed doors, what was a mundane pantry storage area then becomes one of the key statement design features of this light-filled bespoke kitchen in Gloucestershire.
Unlike traditional kitchen cabinets, a walk-in pantry offers generous space for storage. From ingredients to small appliances and cookware, there’s room for everything, ensuring the main kitchen remains clutter-free.
Here we have incorporated a mix of storage options; base and wall cabinets hide unsightly items, while open shelves throughout the pantry create optimal storage opportunities for both small appliances as well as ingredients. Everything has its designated place, making it effortless to locate items and keeping ingredients well-managed.
By creating bespoke storage solutions we have catered to individual needs and preferences, while an integrated under counter pull-out waste bin allows food prep to be carried out inside the pantry itself.
Carrara marble worktops also used in the kitchen create continuity throughout the space
A combination of storage options means that an ever changing selection of groceries and ingredients can be stored easily
Outside the room, to the left of the glazed pantry doors, is an integrated Gaggenau freezer with ice maker, while to right sits an integrated Gaggenau fridge. Both strategically placed they flank the pantry entrance, creating a unique hub for all food storage.
Hidden behind the paneling in the pantry itself careful consideration has been taken for the numerous services; hidden wiring for large appliances and plumbing for the ice maker, electrics for the numerous plug sockets, as well as space for the manifold. It is these hidden details that make this kitchen design 100% bespoke.
Beyond food storage, this walk-in pantry serves as a multifunctional space. Carrara marble worktops have been used throughout the light-filled kitchen and in to the pantry itself to create continuity throughout the space. A cold marble surface is perfect for storing cheese or puddings away from the warmth of the main kitchen.
