Welcome

2014 is Guild Anderson's tenth anniversary in business. Over the past 10 years, the company has built a sound reputation for designing elegant, practical fitted and freestanding furniture in the south of England.

Our mission is simple: we feel passionately that all furniture should reflect your lifestyle - whether off the peg or bespoke - by being efficient and easy to use as well as looking fabulous. We apply these principles to every kitchen, room or individual piece that we design, for the best result in each project. Guild Anderson's approach is very personal and understated and, as you can see by the testamonials throughout this website, our clients' happiness is really important to us.

Kitchen Planning Key Tips

As well as making beautiful kitchens we also create tailored boot rooms, laundry rooms, dressing rooms, studies, libraries and freestanding furniture. We have introduced a number of design ranges to help you when it comes to choosing your kitchen style. These underpin all of our cabinetry designs but still allow for a unique look to every single room or piece of furniture. We work with clients from developing the initial drawings to selecting appliances, cabinet handles and worksurfaces. Guild Anderson are often asked for guidance on paint and furnishings choices, so we now also offer an Interiors Service to clients.

Take a look around our website and if you would like to have a chat about your project please give me a call on 01747 820449. Or if you prefer, come in and visit our workshop which is located five minutes from the A303, near Hindon. The adjoining (small but immaculate) Guild Anderson design showroom was built to show clients work-in-progress and to demonstrate the care and skill that goes into every piece of our furniture. We would love to see you here.

Fresh from the workshop this month

The inspiration for this latest kitchen from the Guild Anderson workshop came from the fantastic space available in the room.

An old stone barn sited next to the main house has been transformed into a spacious kitchen/living/dining room. The new room is linked via a 15ft long glass hallway, with stunning views of a tranquil and private valley on Exmoor.

What our clients say...

"Thanks for everything - we are thrilled with the kitchen and clearly the Guild Anderson link is very special. Please pass on our gratitude to all the teams who have combined to make our house and its garden such a lovely place which we hope to enjoy for many years to come."

Mr Cooke

”We chose Guild Anderson because we felt convinced that they would build a bespoke kitchen that would exactly fit our tastes and needs. From the moment we met Nick we were impressed with his knowledge and attention to detail. The kitchen he designed was tweaked until every detail was perfect. The fitters worked meticulously and efficiently and the pride they took in their work was comfortingly impressive. We moved back into our new kitchen and it was easy to know where to put everything. Surely a sign of a brilliantly designed room. Thank you for all your hard work.”

Mrs Welch

”I just absolutely love my kitchen. Nick was brilliant at converting things into a reality. A national kitchen firm who also quoted just refused to do some things that we wanted, and insisted on doing other things that just didn’t make sense. Nick is very flexible and adept at finding solutions tailored to our home. I felt we were in good hands throughout the project and we have ended up with a great kitchen.”

Mrs Tydeman

"We will be completing our 11th bespoke cabinetry commission with Guild Anderson shortly. It is a pleasure to work together and we look forward to incorporating their design skills and craftsmanship again in the future as we continue to build rural family homes to a very high standard.”

Templeton Walker, Property Developers, Wiltshire

"I do apologise for our delay in writing a heartfelt letter to you and your team to express our appreciation and thanks for our wonderful new kitchen. From the first meeting you understood my brief and that I wanted to create an artist's studio with something old and something new rather than a just a room to cook in. We are now back in our house and we are truly delighted, the care of the design and installation was first class."

Mrs Bowen

“Thank you for your constructive reply - you provide a model for after-service and it is much appreciated.”
