Guild Anderson are bespoke kitchen designers based in Wiltshire.  Our head office, kitchen design showroom and furniture workshop are located in Tisbury and the surrounding Fonthill Estate.  Wiltshire is our home and our inspiration.

Guild Anderson’s bespoke kitchen designs are enormously wide-ranging – from kitchens, laundries, boot-rooms, dressing rooms, to studies and home cinemas – and encompass stand-alone projects to substantial house renovations. As you will see, we don’t have design ‘ranges’ because we believe bespoke should mean personal and unique, based instead on our client’s style and the architecture of the house.

Wiltshire is a county often overlooked when passing through on the A303 from London to the more coastal counties of the South West.  It is blessed with a rolling agricultural landscape of chalk downs peppered with both large and small period country houses and estates, that sit comfortably alongside its numerous prehistoric monuments.

We have been fortunate to design bespoke kitchens and cabinetry for many of the counties most beautiful houses.  With towns and cities such as Salisbury, Tisbury, Hindon, Wilton, Pewsey, Warminster and Marlborough, the area is interesting for its history as well as its rural heritage.  Significant landmarks of Salisbury Cathedral, Stonehenge and Avebury all add to the historical importance of the county.

Each town and village within the county boasts a stately home, large country house or a manor house.  More rural properties can be stone, brick and flint elevations and many are thatched with flint being used as a key building material throughout the areas architecture as it is found so readily in the surrounding fields.

More recently we have seen many clients relocate to Wiltshire looking for a more understated rural life.  With its excellent connections back to the capital and a selection of the South West’s finest houses, alongside great schools, wonderful food and real community spirit; Wiltshire is an inspiring county, just more quietly modest than some of the neighbouring counties.

Some of Guild Anderson’s recent Wiltshire bespoke kitchen projects have included re-configuring an awkward shaped room to create a stunning family kitchen with Georgian elegance at its heart.  On a more modest scale our Wiltshire cottage kitchen is a small space with big impact.  While our Bucknowle Kitchen Feature saw the design challenged with the enormity of 3m high ceilings.  The scale of the kitchen design needed to be grand enough to fill the space, and yet retain a very pared-back Scandinavian aesthetic, as requested by the clients.
